Summer/Fall FUNDRAISING EVENT Havasupai Cultural Arts Program 69th Annual Navajo Festival of the Arts and Culture Event

July 20, 2018 – Flagstaff, AZ

The Umbrella Project, Inc. will be displaying beautiful Havasupai inspired umbrellas on August 5 and 6 at the 69th Annual Navajo Festival of the Arts and Culture at the Museum of Northern Arizona. The museum is located at 3101 North Fort Valley Road, Flagstaff 86001. The museum is located two miles from downtown Flagstaff along scenic Highway 180 to Grand Canyon National Park.

Funds raised from this event will go to the Havasupai Cultural Arts Program which includes facilitating art classes and school events that reinforce the tribe’s Native American culture for their school-age children.

The umbrella artists this year include artists from the Havasupai Tribe as well as high school artists from:

  • Red Rock High School, Sedona
  • Wickenburg High
  • Agua Fria High, Avondale
  • Verrado High, Buckeye
  • Desert Edge High, Goodyear
  • Millennium High School. Litchfield
  • ASU Preparatory, Phoenix
